You probably should include the thing about Devera not being the Roman goddess Deverra.
Amusingly, I didn't realize that Deverra makes an appearance in Book 6 of The City of God, by St. Augustine. Apparently, she was a guardian goddess of women, one of three deities who protected women who'd just given birth from the god Silvanus. Deverra was associated with a besom (broom made of sticks) used by those human male guardians who swept Silvanus away from the threshold.
